Thanks to three solid rounds of golf (65 (-7), 68 (-4), and 71 (-1)), I was able to achieve my first tournament victory on the ProGolf Tour in Cairo, despite warm but windy conditions. It was a wire-to-wire win, where, except perhaps on the second-to-last hole, I never lost control and was always able to stay in my zone. It’s fantastic to experience in reality what one has always dreamed of. With this victory, I have proven to myself that I can not only play good golf week after week but also perform under pressure and see it through to the end. This realization gives me a lot of self-confidence and releases a great deal of energy for the upcoming challenges.
