I therefore approached the First Stage in Denmark (23–26 September 2025) with mixed feelings. Three solid rounds of par, –2 and –2 put me in a good position going into the final day. The closing round (+3) once again mirrored my entire season. I finished it with bogey, par, bogey and bogey and already thought I was out. Fortunately, I had miscalculated and just squeezed through to the Second Stage in tied 13th place. At that moment, I thought of the many tennis stars who often say after winning a Grand Slam that they only did so because they saved match points in the first round—and then went on to play freely. “Alright,” I thought, and decided to put that insight to use.

Together with my mother, I travelled to Spain five days before the event to prepare for the Second Stage (Desert Springs, 30 October–2 November 2025). I got off to a very solid start with rounds of par and –5. Then something happened that I had not managed all season: despite not having my hands and lacking rhythm, I still managed to finish the round at –1. That showed me I was back on the right track. In the final round, my hands were back, and—boosted by the confidence from round three—I posted a strong –6, which comfortably secured my qualification for Final Stage. Those four rounds once again proved to me that I can perform under heavy pressure.

Having already secured Category 15 on the HotelPlanner Tour by qualifying for Final Stage, I travelled on to Spain for the Final Stage (Infinitum Golf, 7–12 November 2025) feeling relatively relaxed and full of confidence. And as sport sometimes goes, I opened with a dream round of –7, where everything simply clicked. At one point after the first day, I was even leading the tournament. Unfortunately, I gradually lost concentration and physical tension in the following rounds, couldn’t maintain the level, and eventually missed the cut narrowly after rounds of +3, +1 and +1.
