My first Victory
as a Professional (ProGolf Tour)
at the Allegria Open 2024
in Cairo, Egypt (12.-14.3.2024)

Through three solid rounds of golf (65 (-7), 68 (-4), and 71 (-1)), I was able to secure my first tournament victory on the professional tour in Cairo, despite warm but windy conditions. It was a wire-to-wire victory, during which, except perhaps on the penultimate hole, I never lost control and was able to stay in my zone. It’s truly amazing to experience in reality what one has always dreamed of. With this win, I’ve proven to myself that I can not only play good golf week after week but also handle the pressure and see things through to the end. This realization gives me a lot of confidence and releases a great deal of energy for the tasks ahead.

I’m also happy for all those who have supported me along the way and always believed that I could WIN tournaments. Below, you’ll find my official winner interview from the ProGolf Tour.

Making the first cut
on the DP World Tour
at the Omega European Masters
in Crans-Montana (30.8. 3.9.2023)

In my fourth participation at the Omega European Masters in Crans-Montana, it finally happened. With a long birdie putt on the last hole, I achieved what I have been dreaming of for a long time. I made the cut at a DP World Tour event for the first time, giving me the opportunity to experience the fantastic atmosphere of this great event on Saturday and Sunday.

For me, it wasn’t just about making the cut, but more about how I achieved it. Five holes before the end, I knew I needed three birdies to reach my goal. And I delivered them.

So, along with many great memories and a wonderful Omega watch for being the best Swiss player, I also take away the realization that I can perform my best in the highest pressure situations. This gives me the motivation to continue training hard to maximize my potential for the remainder of this season.

Successful Season Start
on the Challenge Tour
in Holland (May 19-21, 2023)

Swiss Golf offeres me several wild-cards for Challenge Tour events this season. For my first event, I chose the “NL-B Challenge Trophy” in Holland. I got off to a strong start with rounds of 67 and 68 on the first two days, even briefly sharing the lead at one point. However, on Saturday and Sunday, I encountered some difficulties, especially on the back nine, which ultimately led me to finish in 22nd place. Overall, though, it was a very satisfying debut, and it was the first time I used the services of a professional caddy..

Another podium finish
on the ProGolf Tour in Egypt
(April 9-11, 2023)

Thanks to three consistent rounds at the EINBAY Red Sea Open, I once again secured a spot on the podium and am now ranked 8th in the Order of Merit on the ProGolf Tour. This second podium finish shows me that the intensive training to improve consistency is already paying off.

First podium finish
on the ProGolf Tour in Egypt
(April 4-6, 2023)

Thanks to a fantastic final round of 65 (-7) with five birdies and an eagle, and a total of -13, I was able to secure my first podium finish on the professional tour at the ProGolf tournament Little Venice Red Sea Open 2023. I will now try to carry this momentum into the second tournament of this series.
